Summer 2008 What a busy season

Well my friends this season has been the busiest time for me in alot of ways. Jack and the Beanstalk once again sprouted since its debute in 2006. The play is a quite successful production and never fails to reach it's audience. I've been out of town quite often: I went to Boston twice one time for the National Down Syndrome Congress Convention and my annual check of the heart. My uncle came down from Wisconsin and I've spent a couple of weeks with him and my family as well. I'm also been touring with Kaliedoscope Theater at Cape Cod, South Shore in Cohasset, Rhode Island College and the Chevrolet theater. It's certainly very busy around here. This month I'll be doing concessions for the other shows at Rhode Island College.

Results from the State Summer Games

I stand victorius and brave for acheiving two gold medals for both the shotput and the 50m dash. I feel like King Midous with the golden touch. The Special Olympics was so fun with great activities and great friends and wonderful athletes. I'm looking forward to next year when I'll be doing both the 50m dash and the Softball throw.

Second thoughts on the Greek Play

I'm sorry to report that I'm having second thoughts on the Greek Play. I get so tired very often and I need breathing space. At least I'm going to audition for the Christmas Carol this year, If I'm Lucky I may audition for an musical at CCRI. If I don't make it there's always other options in the acting world.

Special Olympic Time Trial Games

On Saturday April 26 the Special Olympics hosted the Qualifers for the state summer games at Bishop Hendriken High School. I did the shotput last year, now I'm doing it again this year. I got a fourth place ribbion in the shotput. Another event went down in history. In the 2005 time trials I ran against the men in the 50 meter dash and got a gold medal. This year I recieved the gold medal when I ran against the women. That's why history repeated itself. I'll give you the update on the state summer games soon!
